Sanctification in the Everyday

Whether fighting a specific sin or walking by faith amid stressful circumstances, the aim of this free e-book from Desiring God is to add to your arsenal for the everyday work of sanctification, for the glory of God.

What do Justification and Sanctification Mean?

Justification means our declared righteousness before God, made possible by Christ's death and resurrection for us. Sanctification means our gradual, growing righteousness, made possible by the Spirit's work in us. This 4 minute video shows how the two work together.

Teaching Videos

We cannot overcome the effects of sin independent of God, but He has provided the way to overcome sin and its effects through the gospel of Jesus Christ. In Christ, we display His supremacy and victory over evil as we arise over sin, shame and even death.

Beyond action alone, God looks deeper to the desires and motivations of the heart. Only through the gospel will God align our hearts with His purposes.

In our fear and anxiety, the call is to cry out to him, to trust him and run to promise of redemption found in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
